Wilder deserves credit for his Fury performances, but his resume is one of the most fraudulent. The guy had the most protected title run I have ever seen. During his reign, he somehow never fought Klitschko, Haye, Povetkin, AJ, Whyte, Chisora, Parker, Ruiz, etc. He was an exciting fighter, but...

Agreed with most of your points. I do think boxing has been in shambles for a while though. It’s my favorite sport but the true boxing matches are dwindling. Money takes over which causes fights to get milked, belts to be held hostage, corrupt decisions, steroid abuse, ducking fighters, etc...

One of the few times I thought all judges got it right. I thought anywhere from 7-3 Fury to 5-5 was fair. There were some close rounds but I think people were giving Francis too much credit. He deserves all the credit but not on the cards necessarily. Fury looked horrific.
