There are plenty of takedowns that occur from being square. They arent rookie moves, and they dont just work on scrubs. They are hit at the highest levels against the best opponents. Further, power doesnt always move in a straight line; rotational force, torque, and direction changes are huge.

This isnt true. They happen all the time. Not as much as leg attacks, but they are very frequent. You dont get extra points for them, but they are exponentially more prone to leading to back points than leg attacks.

Perhaps you could post video of yourself, a real legit brown belt, competing or training, so that I can see what a real one looks like. Surely if you have been training for ten years, there has to be plenty of footage of you competing and training. Wish I could say the same for myself
