There is a ton of great instruction in the valley. I have friends at just about every gym in town. I think one thing to consider is if you want a jiu jitsu school or an mma school. I prefer to train jiu jitsu with jiu jitsu people. MMA gyms that offer jiu jitsu are not my favorite. Come by...

I've found a lot of the stuff Bodycomb comes out with is really well thought out. He talks about the various levels of control that you can have over the legs. I need to get on youtube and watch some more of that combat sambo that includes head butts and groin strikes.
