I’m curious, why do you think he’s unlikely to get the fight? Do you think there will be network or streaming service issues, or is it that the fighters don’t want the fight?
Was the skill level on display really that low? I thought Fury looked excellent tbh. It wasn’t a pretty display of the sweet science, but he knew exactly what he had to do to win, and he executed near perfectly. There’s skill involved in that even if the outcome isn’t pleasing to the eye. Fight...
I haven’t been all that interested in boxing over the past 6 months, but last night and the fight from two weeks ago have pulled me right back in. I’m going to have to renew my DAZN subscription now and hope for good things going forward.
You have to be disciplined as well as talented to beat Canelo, and a guy dabbles in hard drugs and can’t make weight for a title fight doesn’t stand a chance.
Does anyone know what came of the streaming deal BKFC signed with DAZN last summer? I expected to see them there but so far nothing. I’d watch but I’m not paying $40 for this.
I hope Farmer/Diaz 2 happens because the first fight was good, but I’m not really expecting it. I don’t expect Farmer to have another high profile fight now that he’s lost his title tbh.

Looks like he won’t be heading to Australia anytime soon.
On the other hand I can’t understand Lopez’s resistance to giving him a rematch. After his victory his confidence must be sky high, he’s likely the A-side now, and it’s the most financially rewarding fight for him at the weight within the TR fold. The only other guys who would be near as...
In normal times I’d say these fights wouldn’t be made for another 6-8 years. But due to covid and the way it has ravaged the sports landscape I think we’ll see promoters forced to jumpstart things by offering more palatable matches to fans. This is probably the easiest big fight to make at this...
He was hit clean on the chin and he got right back up. Arguably it was the only round he lost, too. I think his chin is alright, he just needs not to get hit so cleanly in the future. With his work ethic and camp I would expect to see him address these deficiencies in his upcoming fights.
The great thing about this fight is that the loser has plenty of time to rebuild if necessary. For Garcia, because of his crowd-pleasing style and popularity, it seems like a no brainer. I can see Haney being a little more hesitant even though he is tricky. He’s clearly not a TV fighter and a...
Somewhere a referee is still counting over an unconscious LSC. We don’t need to see him against Garcia. Haney is a good matchup, and should be easy to make seeing as they’re both on DAZN. It will be similar to DLH vs Ruelas and I think it will happen in May.
Tarver was good but the last time I heard him he was commenting on BKFC. I think he had some legal problems too that might make him unattractive to DAZN.
He actually ballooned after 2008 (I think it was 2008, anyway). I remember seeing pictures of him with a spare tire hanging over his belt. It must have killed him getting back in shape for 2012.
