Ben is way too one-dimensional to beat either one of them. Impossible to success in UFC if you have 0 striking ability. Same think with grappling.

I would argue that it's much easier to close the distance against any of those guys. Francis has bigger reach advantage, better timing and nasty uppercut that could end the fight any time DC tries to close the distance.
