Jourdain is one of my top 2 favorite fighters rn I definitely thought he won that. Maybe you can make an argument for a draw with some close choke attempts.
One of the weirdest performances I've ever seen. Looked like he was trying to throw as many punches without actually touching Zahabi. Like he never fully extended his arms and was throwing those "feeler punches" the entire fight. And his kicks... lol
Damage > everything. That is how a round is scored. Submissions also can be scored similarly to a big strike as they are both actions that contribute to a finish.
Every round of Arman vs Gamrot was close and very competitive. But Arman landed more impactful strikes throughout the entire fight...
There is no denying that all the rounds were very close and very competitive. But if Arman lands the most impactful strikes of the round it should go to him. If fighter A lands jab and fighter B lands a harder jab nothing else happens in a round it is close, but easy to score
Damage > Takedowns/control. Arman landed way more impactful strikes. Gamrot did not do anything with the takedowns. Tired of the commentators acting like a takedown = significant strike. Close, but clear fight to score imo.
He looked kinda tired in the Tybura fight imo which is weird since he has shown good cardio against Blaydes and Gane. I would hope it is just an outlier. But yes seemed slower and even slower to get out of the way of tyburas strikes. I am glad he got the win but I didn't love that last fight
On paper, Till smokes him. But I also I thought Woodley was a great matchup for Till since he was a great counter striker who only needed to avoid the right hand. We all know how that went. Till does a nice job of getting out of the way of most strikes until he just eats the one and goes down.
I just had a surgery and they made me take a blood test and blood pressure and breathing and all that stuff. I've had a lot of surgeries and always had good experiences luckily. Either he had something they didnt pick up on (their fault) or he caught something the day after but they usually pump...
I think most people knew what was up after the 3rd "I fixed X problem now I'm a new fighter". He had won fights in between big losses which ramped his hype up again
So these two are just getting an opportunity to be in the UFC anyways? I know that they sign people who dont win tuf but neither of these guys looked like they belong just yet. Maybe Andrei if he works on his cardio but even then...
