I have seen people use the glove style wraps in combination with traditional wraps for "extra double protection". At the end of the day, they end up forgetting about the glove style wrap and go for better alternatives like Winning Gel Pads or Skulltec in combination with traditional wraps.

The print on my 10oz Winning Gloves are holding up fine after about 7 months. Also One of training partners has Winning headgear with the print and it still looks good. He's had the headgear for years now. We both were able to get the print for free when we ordered off Rakuten.
I have seen people at my gym use the Skulltecs with MX Gloves pro fight gloves, Powerlock pro fight gloves, and Grant pro fight gloves. They were 10oz.
They didn't tell me a name. They just said it was their Winning Clone. Basically looks like a Powerlock with the 1910 logo and mesh palm. The rep said it was slated for a September release but is obviously subject to change.

They are coming out with a new "winning clone" line. I was able to try it and it is no where like the real thing. Good effort though.
