    RDX gloves

Back when I started I had a pair of RDX gloves which were labelled 10oz but actually about 16oz each. Not even the dirt cheap ones though, these were a £40 pair. Funnily enough the pair I had before that were a dirt cheap pair of RDX, and were near enough the right weight.

    Twins 14oz - damaged or...?

Are both gloves just as tight as each other? Also you say the fingers are in different positions, but can you make a comfortable fist easily with both gloves? If the answer to both questions is yes, then I wouldn't think there would be a noticeable difference when you're training. Twins...

    reyes training gloves

I have the Hybrids, my Mediums worked out at about 16oz, which is fine by me. The problem I have though is that while the hybrid closure is great, it's also just a pain. It's not really easy to lace them up around your wrist like regular lace-ups, so the fit isn't quite as perfect as with...

Website or anything where I can find ALL kickboxing/muay thai brands?

Hah, that would be a dream, but you're hoping for bit much. While it seems like there are only really a few brands out there, when you actually look at it there are literally hundreds of brands, some with huge ranges of products (like Venum, they seem to just stock everything). That's not even...

Winning new logo? Real or fake?

Oh I stand corrected then. Had a quick look on Rakuten but didn't spot that one. This. Even if the glove does exist it's still so easy for anyone to find an image online and set up pretending they're selling a real pair.

    Muay Thai vs Kickboxing

There are a few martial arts which call themselves kickboxing, but these days its used most often to refer to a 'K1' style ruleset. Some of the main aspects of Muay Thai (clinching, elbows, knees, catching kicks) are restricted to some extent in kickboxing, as well as having less rounds and...

How much do your boxing gloves REALLY weigh?

Damn your Reyes have a huge difference between the two gloves! Found this pretty interesting too, same sort of topic: https://fightquality.com/2018/03/02/what-does-glove-weight-mean/

Winning new logo? Real or fake?

Assume it's fake. 1. It's on ebay 2. Seller only has 19 feedback, no other products for sale 3. No other well known Winning seller seems to have this in stock 4. There's only one photo which isn't even great quality 5. If it's your first time ever hearing about it, there's probably a good...

Purpose of 12oz Pro fight boxing gloves?

I think you're forgetting that people often use pro style gloves just for training. Not just that but half of the gloves brands try to sell as 'pro' gloves arent even authorised under any boards/commissions for competition use, its sometimes just a marketing thing. Either way I've used 12oz for...

Boon Sport ONE FC Muay Thai Gloves

Heard about this but hadn't seen the actual gloves yet. Look pretty nice, I kinda prefer the ONE logo to the usual Boon one. I'd buy a pair if I could.

    3 in 1 bag

I don't really see a huge reason for it in Muay Thai, doesn't really look like it would be that great for kicks. If you want to throw body shots and uppercuts you'd be better off getting something like the Fairtex HB13, at least then you can throw kicks with some power and get some decent...

    New Boxing Glove Designs

Not sure about the metallic effect on the main logo and the red in the other logo, kind of clash a bit with most of the designs. Otherwise it's cool to see designs which aren't just plain. No. 3 is nice.

GLOVE KINGS GK BOXING GLOVES (UK) - Anyone tried these

I've seen them when looking around and considered it purely out of speculation. They're one of the few brands selling lace ups for about £40. As far as I can tell the Glove Kings brand is a side-gig by nutritionking.co.uk At a guess I'd say they just found a manufacturer in pakistan who do...

Small hands! Help with 16oz sparring gloves

Hang on - Why would you complain about BGV1s and then consider a different version of the BGV1? My BGV1s probably have the biggest hand compartment out of every glove I've owned. My knuckles are a bit smaller than yours, but roomy gloves don't tend to bother me a huge amount.

    Headgear to protect eyes

I've seen people lose contacts a few times. The suggestion my coach has given out before is to try and get used to training without glasses or contacts at all. I think you're going to have problems with even the best headgear. Obviously that's not great advice if you can't see 2" in front of...

Is this a fake or real rival glove?

I'd hazard a guess and say they're probably real. They're an older model which Rival don't sell anymore (as far as I know), and also one of the slightly cheaper lines, so I can't see there being much money in anyone making fake versions. I haven't owned those gloves before though. Best way to...

    Best Mini Thai Pads?

I've used those Revgear ones. They're pretty nice to start off with, definitely good for boxing combos with the odd kick. Problem is they soften up a lot quicker than other Thai pads I've used, which means because they arent too thick you can really feel it when holding for big kicks. These...

Muay Thai people- Twins KPL10 Vs KPL12

I've used the Twins KPL12s and they're pretty nice. Firm to start off with but find a nice medium when broken in. Also used the fairtex KPLC2, which are a bit softer, but also not as thick. The pair we have has lasted forever though. Had them longer than the Twins. I'd probably say I prefer...

Has anyone tried diamond mma or lo-bloo cups?

Not me personally, but there are reviews of both here: https://fightquality.com/home/protection/groin-guards/

    mma gear is dead

I owned a pair of Bad Boy Legacy 2 gloves actually, and they aren't too bad. They have some nice features. They've released a newer version recently as well. Problem is the lack of exposure now though. Out of the MMA brands which are still doing well (like Hayabusa and Venum) it's mainly...
