well I used to do kickboxing and bjj as a kid from the ages of 8-13. parents ran out of money and now that I'm 18 I got back at it. technically been training again for 4 months but switched gyms recently
10 min low intensity jogging/ running. 2 minutes walk. 30 second fast run not sprinting. 15 second jog. 20 seconds sprint. 30 second jog. 30 second fast run.. repeat everything after the 2 minute walk 20 times
im not a pro fighter by any means but here are my stats and while sparring + rolling I can hold out longer than most people. 1 mile 5:23. 5k 19 minutes 10k 45 minutes. ill give u half marathon stats in a few months
my best friend since I was 8 works there and gives me free drinks + screwed up orders all night long.. in turn I help him clean up some tables after it's over. usually u can get in without a cover though
if you're cutting it might make a little difference but not that much. if you're bulking it shouldn't make any difference at all because of the anabolic state of your body
was thinking about doing psmf for 2 weeks. I'm 5'7-8 (depending on ruler) 174lbs and 12% body fat (18 years old) never tried psmf before but I did do keto. would psmf be the best option to just go from 12% bf to 10% at a quick pace and then just maintain my diet there until I want to cut again...
would just 2 times a week be good. I train 6 times a week. 4 days doing bag + mitt work 5 days doing bjj and 2 of those days we usually do free sparring.
update on this thread. was busy at work for a little while and forgot to post. guy was kicked out for a few weeks and will be allowed in again when head coach says so
I have sparred with him multiple times and I didn't really go 100%. I gave him about 60% and the spar was limited for no headkicks while he repeatedly threw some at me but I did not return. most of the other people at the gym are nice but this guys just flipped out and idk why
went to kickboxing class yesterday and then right outside the place the person I was sparing with comes out and swings clipping me in the cheek. friends and class break it up before a full out fight ensues and I'm gonna see him in class today wat do? also has this ever happened to u?
