I am going off his previous 5 fights also and considering he has no background In wrestling atall he has been able to dominate them exchanges. Hence why i said strong wrestling but not top level
I havent seen anything to suggest he couldnt. He has precious striking, great reflexes and strong wrestling. The only thing i would say is he needs that killer instinct becuse he could of finished cowboy then
Running? He just didnt get into a slugfest that most fans want and used his skill. I think people forget They do a training camp, what would be the use in doing all the preparation to then just swing away. Leon was calculated and precise
Also with no previous background in any martial art before starting out 9 years ago by just turning up at an mma gym. If you look at how much he has progressed in the last 3 years while being in the ufc its silly to dismiss him
It wasnt life or death. He got caught it happens and still got the win.
His already faught usman a few years ago when his wrestling was below par for the ufc and his gone away and worked on it. He still only lost decision
Not many people seem impressed with Leon Edwards despite his 5 fight win streak beating some good fighters.
Where would you rank him after he beats cowboy and who would you Match him up with next?
Leon is still young and fairly new to mma himself having had no training as a child. I think in a few more years we could he looking at a challenger he has already gone up so many levels from his first ufc fight
Leon used to be a pure striker but after his two loses in the ufc has really worked on his wrestling and ground game, which had shown in recent fights.
Tom breese is known to be at a good level in the bjj world
Fabian is very new to mma having only started training 3 years ago but In training...
Keep an eye out on these guys. All fighting out of the same gym in the UK
Fabian is currently In bamma and had one fight on bellator. Soon to be in the ufc
I know who he trains with and who he has sparred thats why Im so certain he is ufc calibre. He has only been training mma 3 years since he first stepped foot in the door, i just wanted to give you guys who like mma a heads up to watch him but if you already know about him even better.
