Are you worried for DC against Lesnar ?

Even Jon Jones couldn't hold DC on the ground. DC seems to be really hard to hold down.

McG vs Khabib - The oversight

Khabib couldn't take down Laquinta at will. I'm sure Conor's TDD has improved enough to be comparable to Laquinta. As long as he doesn't get too wild with the kicks and actually is carefull not to get taken down he should win.

How likely is it that khabib ragdolls Conor the ENTIRE fight like barboza?

If connor focus on take down defense, and isn't afraid of the other person's standup at all, i think his TDD can be better than people think. Khabib had trouble taking down Laquinta. Yes Mendes was able to take down Conor, but keep in mind Conor improved a lot since then, and Conor wasn't very...

How do you lose 12 fights while still kept on the roster?

He's a perfect gate keeper. Good enough to beat people not good enough for UFC, but not skilled enough for the real ufc caliber guys. Always puts on a show The fans knows him and knows he will put on a show. Not too costly. Always takes any fight we ask him to do. Doesn't do fight cancellations...

Time For UFC to Pull the Trigger on Georges St-Pierre vs. Anderson Silva @ UFC 231 in Toronto

GSP will likely go for Khabib/Mcgregor winner. He has a very solid shot against both of those imo. It will sell big

Why doesn't the UFC hire Conor to coach other fighters on how to market fights?

This. When Conor was like "I'M GONNA CHALLENGE RDA RIGHT AFTER I CRUSH ALDO R1". People were like... yea right Conor. And then he... actually did that. Then Conor made us believe he would challenge Lawler, and he might have actually done it if things went his way and Lawler didn't lose his...

So Covington is backing out of the Woodley fight after talking all that trash?

I mean on paper, both Till and Colby kinda deserved that fight imo. But Colby marketed himself better and had more entertaining last fight, so it made sense to give him the shot. But it makes for for the UFC not to put the division on hold for him either.

If Dana retires do you think it's possible that Conor becomes UFC president?

I think 90%+ of people of this forum would judge better than 90% of these judges. Any fighters would be a way better judge imo. I'd love Conor as commentator.

What interests you with the DC vs Brock fight?

Unpopular opinion here, but the fight is closer than people think. Odds are actually around +200/-250. Brock is probably the biggest HW, while Cormier might be the smallest one. Remember how small Cain was next to Brock? Cormier will probably not be able to use his wrestling much against a...

Is it crazy to think that Jones will fight the winner of DC/Lesnar?

DC is scared of nobody. He doesn't duck. He sure as hell want to avenge his 2 loss to Jon Jones. It would make him the #1 Goat with no doubt at all for anybody.

What next for Stipe? Blaydes? Struve rematch?

I like the Blaydes match. If Miocic beats Blaydes, that should give him enough steam/hype to potentially get a rematch. If he goes for an easier opponement like Struve he isn't getting a rematch.

What next for Stipe? Blaydes? Struve rematch?

I wouldn't even say he "stuffed" Cormier's wrestling. He literally nullified it. It was worst than Cormier/Jones, Cormier was completly unable to even begin a take down.

Jon Jones tweets about DC title win at UFC 226

Imagine if DC beats Brock (very likely), and then defend against Jones, and actually wins (unlikely, but possible). that would be so insane. Would legit make DC the new goat.

So D.C. is moving up to fight Stipe for 500k, but DJ wants 1m + guarantees for TJ

DJ doesn't want to fight TJ because he is afraid it will hurt his beautifull fight record. But what he is missing is, people don't care that much about records, they want to see exciting fights. DJ's record is much better than McGregor or DC, but guess who the fans want to watch.

Brian Ortega really let everyone down.

But Conor didn't promise us a fight. When Conor actually tells us he's gonna fight someone, he never lets us down, and never turns down a last minute replacement.
  16. Floofyboy

Brian Ortega really let everyone down.

Exactly. Being scared of Stephens isn't how he's gonna earn new fans. Conor was known to never let his fans down when he was supposed to fight.
  17. Floofyboy

How do you see Cormier vs. Stipe going?

This will come down to wether or not DC can easily land the take downs. If he can't land the take downs, this will look like DC vs Jones 1 at best, if DC doesn't get stopped. Stipe should be easier to take down than Jones. But DC had trouble taking down Gus, so its possible he also struggle...
