If you are talking about guys whose style exclusively or primarily revolve around grappling, then Brunson and Vettori would say. Skillwise, Whittaker and Gastelum are high level wrestlers. I pretty much agree on what you say re Romero.
Overall I think his legacy has been tested plenty already...
Agree. Personally I think Gane should fight Blaydes. He has only fought standup guys and nobody had anything for him on the feet.
Tuivasa made a big jump fighting Lewis, I think he still needs more experience at that level. Him vs Rozen or Volkov would make more sense imho.
Giga needs to step down in competition, so I would replace him vs Emmett. Any combination of these four (Ortega, Cattar, Emmett and Yair) would make sense.
Why? He is still young and in his prime. He is probably never going to be a champion in the UFC but that doesn't mean he should retire.
The first criteria is effective striking and grappling, so you have the rules wrong.
Kattar wo every single rounds. The first was close but Kattar edged it via wrestling and the submission threat.
The other rounds were clearly his and the last one could have a 10-8 due to the KD and the fact...
I am so glad someone did that. The reason why they can't give monoclonal antibodies to whoever asks is because of idiots like Dana who say those sorts of things, then the bigger idots who listen to them go after them depleting the stocks and leaving those who really need them without.
I disagree on all your picks but for Gane, Nunes and Chimaev.
Here is my list:
FlW: Askarov
BW: Yan
FW: Holloway (Giga good pick though)
LW: Mackachev
WW: Chimaev
MW: Whitaker
LHW: Ankalaev
HW: Gane
wBW: Nunes
wFlW: nobody currently, maybe Rose if she ever wants to move up
SW: Esparza
Is this for me? My reply was to somebody who said Dustin would need at least 3 wins at least. I think Dustin is not that far from another TS. You need to factor in that Dustin is a big name nowadays and almost finished Charles in the first round, that's also part of the argument for a rematch...
Why???
Gaetjhe is getting his second TS with just one win.
Dustin is a big name and nearly finished Charles in the first round. Depends on who he fights ofc but i bet one big win (e.g. Chandler), two at most, he is right back there.
Everyone has their own unique path.
Charles is neither the first nor the only mma fighter who peaked later in his career. Don't forget he is still very young, he started fighting professionally as a kid, basically.
