Haven't read any Jack Carre's books so I cannot comment on the casting vs the book characters but I really enjoyed the show. Pure entertainment. Reacher remains my favourite out of the newly made series. Anyone have seen the Gray Man on Netflix?
My daughter convinced me to watch it and I am glad she did. Loved the animation, the tempo, the music, the steampunk atmosphere, the violence, the colors, the characters, just the whole package. Can't wait for second season.
I saw it for the second time and liked it even less then the first one. The Cuba scene is the best in the entire movie, so different, so old-style bondish. I loved it and I love Ana De Armas. I was hoping to get what was the plan/moftivation of the villain this time but no such luck. It just...
Why just the father? In Poland it's customary to ask the parents' permission. It's oldfashioned but I really like it. By marrying their daughter you become part of their family so it's kind of nice to make sure you feel welcome.
Well, saw it earlier today. Didn't feel like a 2:43 long movie. It's extremely packed with action. It's very obvious it was the most expensive movie of the franchise. Beautifuly filmed. Craig looks better than in Spectre. I loved some Bond nostalgia elements - OHMS and Living Daylights to name...
Don't rush it. Prepare yourself first so you don't waste the session and maximise the outcome. Read some of the great psychonauts - like Terrence McKenna. Listen to Kyle Kingsbury's podcast. This guy is an experienced shroom traveller and describes his experiences beautifuly. He introduced me to...
Going to see the movie on the opening night, Thursday 0:07 sharp. Not getting my hopes up, regardless of being a Bond franchise fan. Spectre was such a dissapointment and only Bond movie I saw once. I was so pumped for that probably because Skyfall set the bar so high. This time I am not reading...
Definitely go for it. It's one of the things I love about fragrances - they can trasport you to a different era. Probably that's why I prefer an 80's cheapie to the Invictuses of today.
I started rocking EN around 2016 so I don't know how the previous formula smelled. Anyhow I love the current one, have two back up bottles and recommend it to everyone who wishes to try something less obvious. Fahrenheit is a fragrance staple however it reminds me so much of a guy I knew and...
Bleu de Chanel is a good choice for the first cologne. It's very versatile. The downside is - everyone is wearing it (or Sauvage) and for the price you could get yourself a nice collection of different cheaper fragrances.
For me the cassette was the shit. Anyhow any physical medium changes the way you perceive music. For me it was a much more wholesome, immersive experience if I could read the booklet first, check all the lyrics and acknowledgments, see the cover art, etc.. I always listened to the whole album...
If someone is interested in Bruce Lee's life story, his upbringing, philosophy, controversies etc. I would strongly recommend Daniele Bolleli's History on Fire podcast. Two episodes about Bruce Lee have been made available free of charge on all podcast platforms. Absolutely fascinating stuff.
Very dissapointed with the animation. The characters were poorly drawn and the fight sequences seemed very cheap - lots of chaos, can't see shit, Vesemir wins. The monsters especially in the epic battle scenes were just blobs with red eyes. Oddly enough the backgrounds were beautiful and...
