As someone who has dealt with a sibling who was an addict, you literally have no control over them. Don’t give them money, maybe give them a place to stay if they haven’t begun thieving yet, but she has to hit bottom before she will be ready. When that is is different for everyone and sometimes...
I have a deviated septum and my snoring is atrocious. Not a smoker. Not a drinker any longer, sleep on my side and I'm not a slob. I've used a netti and I still have issues. Thinking of getting a mouth piece. Suggestions?
Being dependent and being beholden are different things. My point is you can be your own person and do things like you are saying and not be dependent on your parents. In my mind and my understanding of the word beholden, you should always be beholden to your parents, you owe the your life.

I don't think it's hyperbole to say this country will be divided into countries in this century. With SF allowing illegals to vote and Denver keeping, what would seems to be a man wanted for a manslaughter charge in the least safe, we are becoming so divided in what is lawful and what is...
So you liked Preacher? For me it was a 6/10. I had high hopes for it as the books and Ennis where my favorite but it didn't have the teeth I hoped, with the exception of the Saint.
