Are Primetime MMA gloves still available anywhere? They are the original crosstraining/hybrid MMA glove for amateur MMA bouts and their padding really did make a difference when you felt them side-by-side. Very high quality. Everything since has just been a low-quality copy of a copy of a copy.
I have the top king model with the open fingers and they are STIFF. Very strong velcro, but the strap closes at a weird angle and feels uncomfortable. Maybe they could be good when properly broken in, but IMO go with the Fairtex MMA sparring gloves if you're looking for MMA sparring/shooto style...
Boon and Windy has full faced headgear with lacing going around leaving the middle/top completely open for you to put your bun through. I believe Twins has a few with this design as well. Good luck.
Clinch Gear for their cut/fit, build, and material. I have a few pairs still going strong after 3-4 years of daily training.
With that said, I wish I had stocked up on some of their earlier designs because their newer stuff is ugly as hell.
I still have a few pairs in a box somewhere, but the Ouano Shooto gloves were awful IMO and nothing like their Japanese counterpart.
The current and recently designed Shooto gloves can be purchased from Winning or Isami I believe.
@teamwilkes, think you can post a high res album of your collection sometime? I might never own a pair myself, but always love to admire them and their fine details/craftsmanship!
It would be much appreciated!

The Thunders weren't even close. I bought them on a whim because Bas Rutten endorsed the brand, but I was really disappointed with them.
There were several brands that tried to make the same "style" with open palm, finger loops, segmented break on the back of the fist etc, but the cut and...
For daily training walking between my car and the gym, I got away with using one of those mesh laundry drawstring bags for a long, long time. Keep a few plastic grocery bags handy for sweaty clothes after/between training. Wipe down and air out gear after each class.
"Looks like I've got to get back to work."
Click-bait news bloggers are writing all out articles based on a single line text message response Ronda had with Dana in regards to Miesha's win and everyone is calling her a bitch.
Awesome video! I've always loved the PRIDE gloves-- all of the design elements like the longer rounded fingers, segmented break in the back, finger loops, etc. is the perfect combination of style and substance.
I bought a pair of "Bodymaker" in the PRIDE design, but they were really poor...
