Other professional athletes got it right with unions that pushed revenue sharing. Pro leagues give 40 to 50 percent of revenue (not profits) to the players. Stars obviously get a bigger piece but NFL minimum contracts are worth 480,000, NBA is 385,000 (for a full season), NHL minimum is harder...

Rogan is as bad about immediacy bias as some fans are. As soon as someone else on the list smashes someone, it will be them. He's a promotional arm of the UFC.

I think the top earners in boxing are great fighters who also hype fights well. In MMA, Aldo, MM, and other top level fighters were far from being at the top of earnings. Boxers as renowned as them would have closer to the top of the pay scale, IMO.

The only thing I would say to that is that of you are a top boxer, the money is guaranteed. how many all time great MMA fighters get paid comparatively less because they aren't great at hyping fights. For the most part, boxers can get paid just by being good.

They absolutely have, but the power structure of boxing easily favors top fighters more than the UFC structure.
