Yep. Good athlete, sure, but for now, a classic too straightforward British fighter. Great effort from the kid, though, he's very tough and game, he really needs to add exactly what you suggest.
Man, I'm going to say something really crazy here... uh, maybe let's get Bisping off the mic when a Brit is fighting?
He's insufferable. His bias is absurd. I like Allen fine, but that made it so sweet when Max dropped his fucking ass to close the show.
I know what a size bully is, I thought he was visibly bigger if you think past just height, he absolutely relied on his strength to shut down positions that will end in a takedown 10 times out of 10 if strength is equal, and I don't know how he gets legs and arms that big down below the...
His calves were just *crazy* when I looked at him holding RDA off in the clinch. Everything was big, but his calves, I just haven't seen that at lightweight.
I guess I'd just say that I hadn't really thought of a guy with that build being a size bully, and a few rounds in, I'm thinking, damn, that guy's so thick that he's a size bully
He looked a hair taller to me, too, but height isn't everything. I don't know, I thought of RDA as a big lightweight and I thought his strength was a far far second to Fizeiv's muscles.
I thought he was *significantly* stronger than RDA. Look how many of those positions should have ended in takedowns. RDA basically gave up on taking him down until his gas tank conked. He had a few RDA takedowns shut down cold just with the strength of his grip. Crazy strong.
Strong disagree if you looked at how thick Fiziev was. Those legs are HUGE. Monstrous. And he's jacked in a way that looks like the cut to lightweight should be harder for him. I haven't many with that big an upper body in that weight class.
I basically don't understand how he's carrying that much muscle at that weight. Honestly, seemed just about like slightly different weight classes. He's so big upper body and in the legs. That's a huge lightweight.
I guess that final punch on the ground - he followed up perfectly. I would not have stopped it just off the first punch, even though it was big. But they finally showed a replay where you saw the follow up on the ground was right on the money.
If people actually watch the the 10-15 second sequence centered around that time, they will see what I saw. If people can't see it or don't want to, whatever, it's on you. I know what I saw.
