I feel like I'm of a dying breed among people still hopeful of Almeida, but I like this fight. I think it's very winnable for Almeida. Even in his last fight, despite a boring first round, who else has been able to take down Curtis Blaydes like that?
I'd like to see him fight MVP, sure, but Garry VS Colby is the fight to make right now. I don't particularly care about their beef, but the fight itself is very intriguing and I want to see how Garry does against a wrestler much more than against a fellow counter striker.
It's hard not to be a fan of Dustin, but I really don't feel he deserves the next title shot. I know Islam wants to fight in June, but I'd rather he wait and fight the winner of Oliveira and Arman.
This is a dangerous fight for Fluffy -- he is greart at getting his opponents tired and taking them down before beating the shit out of them into submission, but taking down Dolidze could be a big risk. I think I like Fluffy, but damn this should be a good one. Good matchmaking.
I thought it was weird how he was released as well soon after his win. I guess the UFC didn't view him as a valuable commodity. At 38, he probably wasn't going to make a title run, but meh... fuckin way she goes boys...
