Agree about the H2H and resume being two completely different lists.
Resume:
Ali
Louis
Foreman
Lewis
Holmes
Head to Head at their all time peak:
Lewis
Tyson/Ali
Holmes
Bowe/Liston
Inoue then Usyk.
If Crawford destroys Spence, he could jump them. Spence can’t climb above them P4P because he’s a huge 147’er who’s never done anything outside that weight yet.
He’s delusional.
80% of people think he lost to Loma.
Props for beating Kambosos twice, but Kambosos was never an A level fighter... he just beat a severely overrated Teofimo.
Bivol, Inoue or Usyk in no particular order should be the top 3. Haney might be lower top 10.
Holmes tended to fight to the level of his competition sometimes, thus causing him to be in fights that should not have been close.
He did have all the tools though, and nobody in history would beat him easily.
I do think the best version of Tyson would still beat the best version of Holmes...
He has wrecked knees and hands. People
Underestimate how bad knees affect your overall game… his striking looked a lot worse than normal, probably because Leon damaged his legs and with bad knees, his balance and explosiveness were greatly affected. I had it 48-46 Edwards.
Yan is on a skid, but he’s still levels better than Cody at this point. Cody showboats to hide the fact that he’s scared to engage and commit. Even with his point fighting style, he still gets hurt and you can see he panics at times... Yan KO’s him brutally.
He’s a smaller guy who very nearly beat the bigger guy.
Therefore, P4P Volk is #1.
Similar situation with Nunes and Valentina. Shev is #1 P4P among women, despite Amanda showing 2 wins on her resume.
