⚔ Bisping Calls Out GSP for Superfight Before First Title Defence

He was paid a high base-salary for a reason, it was generally accepted that Bisping would never become champion. Hell, the majority accepted that he wouldn't even ever fight for the title. The UFC knew it, the fans knew it, hell even Bisping knew it.

He was never going to get ppv cuts but at the same time he has done a lot for the company, so they made sure to pay him well.

Now all of a sudden, double plot-twist: Bisping beats Anderson, then gets booked as a replacement with 2 weeks notice to fight the champ, and by some insanity- he won. easy. 1st round KO.

He's the champ, he's getting those ppv points now. Can't blame him at all for looking for the biggest money fights. This is most likely his only shot ever at getting ppv bonuses.

He sure as hell isn't going to push for a fight with Jacare that would probably end up being a Fox/FS1 fight... he's looking for that one big ppv payday, and sure enough- he's calling out for the biggest possible payday in a fight with GSP.

I know a lot of you are upset but look at this from bispings point of view. He has a point about fighting GSP for the all times wins title and also he just beat Anderson silva, managed to surprise us all and ko Rockhold to win a title now he wants to defend his title against GSP who is one of GOATs end its a very winnable fight for bisping. Sonnen had a hard time keeping bisping down and would've lost most likely had it been 5 rounds. GSP doesn't really bring the ko power and I doubt he'd be able to put bisping away and I don't see how GSP out points him on the feet if he can't get bisping to the ground. I think bisping would beat GSP honestly. Then who knows maybe bisping retires or he calls out the last GOAT around his weight class which would be Jon Jones. Granted jones would steam roll bisping but he knows it's a win win based on ppv buys and going out in style win or lose and he could vacate his belt for that fight and retire as MW champ having gone
2-1 against GOATs and retiring as a champion with one successful defense which is more than Conor will ever have

You're a moron and Rockhold turned down the Jacare fight because he thought bisping was easier, Weidman can't even stay healthy long enough to manage two fights within a 7 month period. You're right Anderson turned down every top contender and was so scared of losing his title that he had to go to LHW 3 times while a contender could emerge at MW. He ducked Whittaker to fight Silva. And Rockhold accepted him on two weeks notice. There was big risk, little reward for Rockhold and vice-versa for Bisping.
