i'll be honest, i constantly forget Chris Paul is on that team. so i'll concede the point, i just really dont have any respect for Carmelo.

well, they both behaved well last season. and the lakers are a different beast than the other teams, and LeBron is a different presence, with a lot of power.

That's fair. He certainly didn't do anything to earn any in quite sometimes. I do trust Paul so like I said risk is worth the reward.

They had too. Both were one more screw up from either being out of the league or playing in China. Meh, it's all about personal. The Lakers have been awful for a long time now so the name on the front of the jersey didn't matter. Lebron has a ton of power but he isn't a leader. He can take over and literally win games (or a series in one instance) by himself but he always has to get his way. This is the first team that he didn't hand pick. Let's see how he handles it

i figure they're under the same gun this year. the team is gonna be in the spotlight all year. so with the last chance also comes a chance to clear their name a bit.

I can't see either back with the Lakers next year. Possibly Rondo if he has a good season, comes cheap and they deal Ball (which I'm sure they would love to do). Cance will piss Lebron off really quick

Bern played with JR for years, lance should be a cakewalk. Theyll be fine

JR was his boy though

True, but lance does stuff to rustle the opposing teams jimmies, which is why him and lebron have history

I bet he'll like having that on HIS team for a change, especially without Tristan as enforcer

oh they're definitely one year rentals.

i dont know how often Lance and LeBron will cross paths. Lance is second unit and small minutes. he's likely only in there when Lebron sits. they've got all the young kids with young legs to give all the important minutes to.

they may have very narrow or specific points at which these one year vets are gonna play.

He's good at that but doesn't seem like the type of player that Lebron will tolerate since their history is that of disliking each other. I mean Lebron had to have multiple conversations with Kevin Love whom he wanted, was playing against his strengths and by all accounts is a good dude.

I could see Rondo serving that purpose since Lebron respects him and Rondo doesn't mind getting his hands dirty

I think a guy who we haven't brought up who is actually going to thrive is KCP. He's a good fit next to Lebron

yep.

i think Kuzma will too. they're gonna plenty of wide open looks.

teams will have to double LeBron, so KCP and Kuzma get open looks and Ingram Ball and Kuzma all know how to cut to the rim.

they could just use a large body for rebounding.

now it may not get to championship level, but it'll be damn fun to watch.

Rondo and Bern on the same team is going to be fun. A shit ton of highlights and at least one sketchy story

I’m playing 2K on my phone at work and Durcant joined Boston after they beat the Warios in the finals. Smh.

but wouldn't Kyrie want to go somewhere else to exceed his potential, or some junk?

That's been happening a lot actually. Woj got better scoops when he was at Yahoo

Shams Casino is going to go to ESPN and work with Woj again. No idea what Yahoo is doing letting him leave.

Melo moves the needle for sure in Houston........... in the wrong direction LOL

i guess its hard to say no at that price but idk i might still say no.
