Not only that, but there is no question whatsoever that they are a net positive on the economy. And it would be an even bigger positive if more were here legally. We should be spending our time figuring out how to let people immigrate legally, quickly, and inexpensively.

People bitch about immigrants sending some of their their minimum wage cash back home. Meanwhile, Apple and Microsoft alone have more cash hoarded abroad (nearly $400 Billion) than all immigrants, legal and illegal combined, will send home in 5-6 fucking years.

There is no disputing that once they are here, immigrants be they legal or illegal, commit crimes at a lower rate than US citizens.

I comment on school shooting threads because I am a little closer to it than most I suspect. My wife was literally in Dunblane Primary school when that massacre took place. She was standing right by someone when they were shot and it just as easily could have been her. And my daughters school went on hard lockdown in 2015 when a man murdered his ex and a good friend just a few doors down from me then started moseying over to the school.
