Reminds me a lot of people who say "black men are shot and killed every day, I'm supposed to be outraged because this unarmed one got shot by a white cop??"

Yeah because the fact that black people get killed everyday totally makes it OK that some cops abuse their power and shoot people.

The ability and willingness to make distinctions is quite valuable.

Not sure how reliable these UK tabloid papers are, but it's being reported that zir assaulted some women while in women's jail.

The alleged victim — an inmate with whom she had struck up a friendship — said the remand prisoner stood close to her and touched her arm while her erect penis was sticking out from the top of her trousers.

It is alleged she subsequently made inappropriate comments about oral sex to another prisoner before giving her a bear hug.

A third alleged victim says she was also attacked.

And a fourth woman prisoner claims she was kissed on the neck.

The transgender prisoner has now been sent to a Category B men’s jail.

The study you are referencing simply assumed that transgenders were sex offenders based on the institutions they were placed in, completely neglecting the fact that those institutions housed VULNERABLE inmates - basically like protective custody - this would include sex offenders, trannies, gays, celebrities, gang defectors, etc. Simply being in protective custody does not automatically make you a sex offender.
