I picked Dark Side as best because it’s just so quality, but IMO Meddle-The Wall is their GOAT era and people will understandably have their own favorites.

Animals was my favorite as a youngster and while Meddle isn’t as strong as an album top to bottom IMO, that’s the one I’m most likely to listen to now.
 
Dark Side. Easy choice for me, nothing else they've done even comes close to it imo.
 
WYWH, Dark Side and Animals are pretty much some of the best Albums ever made. Meddle and the Wall are great too. Hard to choose.
I'll go with WYWH. Shine on you crazy diamond is probably the best rock ballad ever made and the album doesn't have a single weakpoint in my opinion.
 
Love Animals. WYWH was always a bit sappy/overblown for me (Welcome to the Machine is just such a generic gesture against corporate music, I found it kinda predictable and boring), Animals is propelled by this virulent anger and frustration which works so well.
