Actors you would have liked to be more popular

Neal McDonough was great in Band of Brothers and Justified but never got a chance to do any lead roles.

Craig Sheffer

He is known for starring as Brad Pitts brother in A river runs through it

Can also be seen in Clive Barker's Nightbreed, Some kind of wonderful, Fire with fire and Emilio Estevez's That was than, this is now.

Yeah he was in the The Program, I remember him. That pic threw me off though, I was like "is that the guy from Bones? No wait it's Stephen Dorff"

Never seen it but it looks good

Yeah I used to get obsessed with movies and watch them 20 times in a row. The Program was one of those movies for a while. I watched The Crow countless times as a teen.

Patrick Wilson usually gives a solid performance. He was great in Little Children.

He was the lead in Zipper, but I don't think that was a huge hit.

Funnily enough, when Chris Pratt started getting big, I thought he was this guy. They really do look a like.

Nick Chinlund like a mfer

If you think he's menacing in those films you should check out his episode of the X-Files. Creepy as hell.

He was also on an episode of the Sopranos (one widely thought of as one of the lesser eps of the series, but that i maintain is a lot of fun). He plays a Native American casino owner who is supposedly going to help Tony and co. by putting in a call for a Native American leader to stop protesting the Christopher Columbus Day parade. And in the end he basically bamboozles them by saying there's nothing he can do but Tony has to get Frankie Valli to perform at his casino since he made the call...

Classic.

I liked him as Toombs in Chronicles of Riddick as well. I just realized that came out in 2004. Holy fuck.

One of my favorite all time lines is him doing the ritual chant in his Midwest voice, “I want to kill everyone. Satan is good. Satan is your pal.”

Lol yes man. Everytime I see him on the screen in The Burbs I smile...love that guy for that role.

Dominic Carter, my uncle. Quality in Game of thrones and British film Going off big time.

I don't think Tim Roth ever got his due. He was my pick to play the Riddler if that character had ever gotten worked into Nolan's Batman series.

Joe Spinell...Frank Zito the Maniac!!! ...Brion James agreed, The Horror Show is killer.... Vincent Schiavelli is a killer mention too. The lurking fear and Death to Smoochy. You are one of the best Sherdoggers this is for certain.

It seems like you would agree when I say Jeffrey Combs. That guy between film, theatre, even being a mime Combs has done it all he is a fantastic talent.

Old conversation but I just remembered that I liked Jeffrey Combs in Fortress from the early 90s.

Michael Shannon. I know he works all the time and is a character actor but he's so good in everything and feel like people don't recognize him enough.
