This will be a fun fight, wouldn't be surprised to see Oliynyk KO Werdum with one of those wild hay-makers he throws.

Don't be naive, ANYONE can be finished, with anything. Hell, who would have thought Rothwell would Gogo Barnett (a guy who tapped Lister ffs), or Hughes choking Almeida. Also, this is MMA, not straight up grappling, if Werdum is rocked, it can be done.

He is a brawler and carries some power. Werdum has sloppy defense and he has been getting finished lately.
I think that is a likely outcome.

But I want to see them fight in the ground.

I agree but after Rothwell/Barnett I believe anything can happen haha
 
I think this should be a good matchup both men are both the same age. One has some momentum the other one doesn't. Good matchup a good matchup.
 
Lol at all the people voting for Werdum.

The constrictor will invite Werdum on top and he will fall for the bait.

Oleynik will then strangle him worst than he ever strangled anyone in BJJ competitions.

People will then start questioning a potential happy meal belt only. Hahaha

I really don't see how Werdum doesn't keep it standing and out strike him. Although Werdum could likely outgrapple him too but he still would be dangerous
 
What would be pretty sweet is if Werdum submits him with his own move (Ezekiel choke), he could probably do it after beating him up a bit.

HW actually has a line atm. Volkov, Cain, & Blaydes are all 1 win away. And if Lewis or Ivanov can score an impressive finish they could be just 1 win away as well.
 
I think Werdum will just tool him on the feet. Oleninik looks like he's held together with duck tape and is in constant agonizing pain.
 
Not a snowball's chance in hell Oleinik beats Werdum but I'll be damned if I wouldn't be happy if it happened
 
Very bad match-up for Oleinik. He's either gonna get tagged up on the feet or tapped on the ground, top or bottom.
 
Love this fight, finally some good matchmaking! On paper you gotta go with werdum but I'll personally be cheering for the boa constrictor.
