Anyone use ambient music while they are working/writing?

I've found it can help me concentrate a bit, as it shuts out any outside noise/distractions. Personally, I've really liked the artist Loscil as of late. Any other artists you guys know that I should check out?

Brian Eno was of the pioneers of ambient music (he invented the term) - music that is "as ignorable as it is interesting".

Discreet Music was one of the earliest attempts at what became ambient, I really like it -

I prefer nature sounds, I was camping a few weeks ago at the beach, and falling sleep to the sound of crashing waves is unmatched.

My go to has been classical, especially for writing papers back in school. But ambient is chill.

Just running a search on ambient trip hop or chill out trip hop mix on youtube turns up alot of gems

I work in a glass factory

So classic rock, heavy metal, and rap/hip hop are my go to selections

Get some of dat German minimal bro

Bohren and der club of gore. It's minimalist jazz, detective jazz... i guess it qualifies as ambient. It's almost too good...
