America United: Every Group Thinks THEY Are Discriminated Against

Canada is over 80% white

The US is about 60% white

You're the one talking out your ass by comparing the two regarding multiculturalism

Canada has a greater % of immigrants tho.

I’m more oppressed than you
Hu uh I am
Nuh uh I hate trump
I hate trump and like wieners!

LOL that's still 1 in every 5 people dipstick. And from dozens of different countries, spread all across the country. It's not about the percentage, per se as much as it is about emphasizing the cultural part of the word.
Or,
White isn't a culture.

Or,

Once again, the groups are similar enough that they don't even separate them in the study linked

And an 80% majority is a huge difference from 60% because the larger the minority group, the less they are inclined to assimilate and can form larger enclaves, to result in almost no integration

The point is that it is on all sides.

There's a white genicide going on haven't you idiots listened to the teachings of the alt right.

We're basically being herded into death camps.

I pretty much hate all group identities. Each human is an individual.

But this puts me in an oppressed minority I'd guess :/

Funny how you're willing to rely on anecdotal evidence in the first instance but not in the second or the third.
If anything you could say I'm not willing to rely on anecdotal evidence in the second but in the first, third and fourth (which all imply a problematic level of racism btw so what's even my agenda?).

Of course that's still a stupid argument because I haven't expressed that I completely accept or disregard any of the answers but you might at least want to get your straw man right. Such surveys, by default, don't show what happened but how people feel about what happened.
Of course that's not always the same, you don't want to seriously contest that?
Would you say if 9/10 women said they felt disrespected based on their gender, that means all 9 of them actually were disrespected because they are a woman?
Or are things a bit more complicated? If 90 out of 100 students felt like at least one of their high school teachers treated them unfairly because he didn't like them, was that actually the case or were some students' essays simply not nearly as well written as they thought?

They call things oppression that, if they happened to black people, they would scoff at as "oppression." They want to feel oppressed while at the same time denying that to others.

My brother's dream was to be a fire fighter. He went to college and got a degree, along with a degree in fire science. He also attended a fire academy and graduated from there, and after that he got himself certified to be an EMT. So at age 23 he figured he was absolutely qualified to get a job with the California Department of Forestry (now Cal Fire).

He was flatly denied the chance at the job. The fire chief told him he wasn't allowed to hire any white males. CDF had decided that the stations in our area were only going to hire women or minorities that year.

Explain to me how that is privilege. Explain to me how that is not oppression.

Denying someone a chance for employment based on gender and skin color seems awfully oppressive.

Multiracialism/multiculturalism doesn't work.

It's a dystopian concept destined for failure.

yea it really is. i mean after the largest immigration waves of the 19th century, where we were literally rounding up immigrants and throwing them in jails without trial (palmer raids), where anarchists were coming in from europe and putting bombs in crowded areas, and where irish, english, chinese gangs were at war in our cities.....the USA basically crumbled and we were shit after that, and became a weak and poor country ever since.

so yea, multiculturalism is a disaster.....

as for the OP, its been pretty clear that the oppression olympics has been going on for some time now. it CANT be that people just disagree with you....its oppression and unfairness.

If someone thinks they are oppressed in some way that doesn't even imply that they think nobody else can be oppressed. Nobody is going to buy that even as a straw man position.
