Anderson has the best finishing rate during a win streak and it’s not even close

Well, Anderson is 6 years older than GSP. Anderson was 41 and GSP was 36 when they fought Bisping. There is a huge difference in athletic ability from age 36 to 41.

Anderson fought guys like DC and Derek Brunson at 41 and 42 years old. Could you imagine GSP accepting dangerous fights like that in the year 2023 or 2024?

And Anderson did fight Weidman twice so all that talk is irrelevant.

Well GSP was smaller, was inactive for 4 years and has fucked up knees so yeah there was a difference in athletic ability. One guy managed to win while the other didn’t.

If GSP was on a winless streak like Anderson and they offered him a big fight would he take it? Lol

Actually Anderson not wanting to fight Chris the first time isn’t irrelevant. If he had his way he would’ve fought fucking Cung Le or Franklin. Luckily that didn’t happen. Needless to say there was a reason why Anderson didn’t want Chris

You are trying to argue with Perrishit, the biggest racist and troll in Sherdog. He just hates brazilians with passion. You AV pic irritates him.

How do you duck a man yet fight him, get knocked out by him, sign up and rematch him after he knocks you out? You'd think if he were ducking the man getting kayod by him would be a great reason or way to get out of fighting him twice.
Silva went up to challenge himself multiple times at the weight above some on short notice not mentioning the fact that silva was actually a 170 fighter to begin his career.
GSP ducked silva during GSPs entire career.
If the man thought he could beat Silva he wouldve took the fight. He knew he could veat Bisping, they all wanted bisping but why wont he take on Wittaker? Mans a duck... give it up.

So just because you end up fighting a guy you tried to duck makes it void? No.

If GSP is a duck Anderson is even a bigger one. He wanted no part of Jones and Shogun yet constantly called out GSP. Again what a warrior he is

You are getting destroyed bro. Just tap to strikes already and leave my thread.

Anderson used to KO shogun in chute box camp. He never desired to take the belt Lyoto was chasing.
GSP avoided and stuttered at every mention of the name Anderson Silva. Youre in a Silva thread trying to argue GSPs greatness while admitting GSP was afraid to fight the man youre saying he is greater than.

I agree that GSP had bad knees and 4 years inactive but you fail to acknowledge AS was 40+ years old and had 40+ fights when he fought Bisping. A lot of people think Anderson beat Bisping in that fight as well.

Anderson was 38 and in his 38th fight when he finally lost to Weidman. Before that, he basically didn't even lose for 9 years. During that time he racked up a dozen title defenses and went up in weight several times.

Anderson used to KO Shogun in Chute Box? Lol. What relevance does that have?

Too bad he didn’t want to show he could do it in MMA when Shogun said he would fight him but Anderson ducked him.

He was terrified of Jones.

So both had mileage and all you have is that GSP was younger and had less fights? Anderson wasn’t a WW, didn’t have 2 ACL injuries and wasn’t inactive for 4 years. Yet he lost and while GSP won.

Gsp was terrified of Silva.
Of course Shogun would fight silva even knowing silva was a bad match up for himself, hes a warrior.
Jones didnt want the silva fight.
Nick diaz along with nearly every fighter in the roster would jump at a chance to get in the cage with Silva but GSP would not because he didnt think he could win.

So what’s the excuse for Anderson not fighting Shogun even though Shogun showed he was interested?

Anderson wanted no part of Jones from the beginning. Jones showed interest initially but probably realised Anderson was scared so didn’t want to appear as a bully. Kind of like how Anderson operated calling out smaller fighters

Big difference between being 36 years old or being 41. Also a big difference between having 43 fights and 27 fights.

Anderson wasn’t a WW
Anderson started his career out as a WW and was the 168 lb champion of the world. You literally don't know anything about MMA. Why keep talking about Anderson when you don't know anything?

didn’t have 2 ACL injuries

Are we really acting like Anderson didn't have any injuries in his 20 year career? He broke his fucking leg, for one

AS had 1 fight in like 3 years when he fought Bisping. Sure, he lost but he was also 41. Like I said, let's see GSP fight a top 5 to 10 ranked guy in 5 years from now.

You have no sense of context.

Going round in circles. Big difference between having 2 ACL injuries, being smaller and not having fought for 4 years vs Being 5 years older (and on PED’s) and having 13 more fights.

What relevance does Anderson being a WW 20 years ago have to anything? He’s a MW who can’t make WW otherwise he would have fought GSP there.

Was that because Anderson was suspended for PED use? Can’t remember.

Fact is GSP beat Bisping while Anderson tried and failed.

Are we really comparing a broken leg to a ACL injury? You are literally talking rubbish

Are you suggesting a complete large bone fracture is less devastating than a ruptured ACL?

Both AS and GSP were well past their primes when they fought Bisping. Bisping was even more past his prime when he fought GSP. You must have missed the Hendo rematch which was a year prior.

And broken leg and ACL tears are both bad.

And once again, I love how you keep downplaying the fact that Anderson was 41 and had 40+ fights. You are stubbornly biased.

But Anderson is a PED cheat

<DCrying><6>

<{danawhoah}>

Oh noooo!

I bet all the clean fighters like Vitor, TRT Hendo, Chael, Marquardt and all the others are very disappointed in The Spider! They must feel real cheated, huh?
