I see a lot of people trying to suggest that Fedor beating Sonnen proves something or reminds them of something, this is a guy who got one punch slept by Matt Mitrione


I’m honestly not even sure a Jones/Fedor fight would be competitive.

DC/Fedor would be a better fight prime for prime, but DC would probably ragdoll and stop him as well

Fedor is a better athlete, human, fighter than Jones. He didn't cheat his entire career and cut weight to pick on small guys and he didn't lose a single round in almost 10 years in a division where 1 punch can end the fight.

Actually look at what HW MMA is, look at the fighters - its never been a great division, even to this day. I think there’s an argument that some of the great LHWs of his own era could have given Fedor a fantastic fight let alone the ones of this one.

Fedor beating Sonnen and Fedor losing to Meathead are both fairly irrelevant when analyzing how a Fedor/Jones fight would go.

The best version of Fedor was significantly different stylistically, and obviously on a much greater athletic level.

Fedor is not a better athlete, the eye test will tell you that.

And based on your first post you can tell that you’re falling into the trap of giving extra credit for fighting HWs who suck just because they’re bigger

Jon Jones without his steroids can't even get a boner ,so without steroids he can't beat Fedor. With steroids it's another story. But i have no respect for a guy that is cheating. I mean think about it. A 27 year old guy taking cialis to get a boner? I am 32 years old and i have 10 boners everyday and minimum 1 hour sex everyday with no problem and i am not a professional athlete.

It has been proven that when you train your testosterone increases so theoritically Jon Jones should have the libido of a 13 year old boy but he had the libido and testosterone of 90 year old female

The skill level at LHW at the very top got much better until very recently.

Prime Fedor was super explosive... Had a lightning fast left hook that he used to close distance and clinch. I don't see him doing much to Jones from the clinch though. I think prime Fedor would fare about as well as Cormier did in his second fight with Jones.

Jones can't even dunk. Fedor is one of the best athletes in MMA. He's explosive and fast as hell. Jones isn't a great athlete at all. He's got a great frame for his style.

And if HW is so bad why does Jones cut weight to LHW? Does he do it for the challenge???
