I have ADHD, have your child get an IEP(Individual education program) its basically "special ed" without being special ed. Your kid will still stay in the same class(es), but the teacher(s) will have to put up with how he may talk to others more, fidget more, loose attention more,etc. They are more or less told to just give your kid more of a break and not send them to the office for every little thing. Your kid will still get all the same homework, same due dates as his classmates. Your school legally has to offer this.
Now if could be different depending on how bad your ADHD is but thats how it was when I had an IEP. I did this until 6th grade when I learned to control it better.
