Trump has been anti-press since the get. A sign of what a low character human being he is.
That being said, since before the election the media has been nothing but garbage. How many millions of dollars of free marketing did they give Trump? And how much did they condescend against Sanders? Then, since the election, they've been their own worst enemy, or at least a very close second to Trump. The amount of false, or misleading stories have magnified. Corrections don't make up for poor journalism when the accusation is poor journalism.
CNN put out a story about the Russia investigation that proved to have been based on a bad source. When this was discovered, CNN forced the three journalists working in that unit, including its head, Thomas Frank, to resign.
This is how journalism should work.
That bad CNN story, held to account and oversight, forced to comply with consensus reality, is not the same thing as, for example, asserting that millions of illegals voted for Clinton in 2016 without a shred of verifiable proof and with, to this day, no retraction or disavowal. To conflate the two is to drink the Orwellian kool aid.
