That's fucked up. Hopefully any psychological damage done to these kids can be treated, and they can be productive members of society after all of this. I'm glad they didn't accomplish their goals with these kids.

Crazy. I was just talking to my wife about something like this a couple months back. We were driving across the Mohave, and the thought popped into my head that there could be people amassing in the middle of the desert and no one would know about it. It's not like the feds are constantly flying drones over barren American land to see if someone has set up shop in a cave or something.

And then today, bam. I just got the desert wrong, is all.

They monitor shithole countries in places like Africa, you don't think they're looking at their own territory? Especially considering the US desert typically borders Mexico which has all the drugs/cartels/illegal immigration issues.
