It's fucking garbage. My cousin just stopped playing after a couple days, after experiencing all the maps. The map design is terrible. Find choke point, grenade spam and pew pew. Wanna flank? Fuck you, what is this, Battlefield?!?! Stay in the corridor!!!!

Why they didn't make a new version of the galactic conquest mode like bf2 classic just screams of lazy cheap development.

I played a decent amount of battlefront 1 on a friend's xbox one. I was surprised by how bad the maps were in that game, along with the spawn points. In my time in Battlefront 2, I think they somehow managed to regress. The game itself is broken, and I think that is a point that is overlooked in the fog of the micro transaction stuff.

It's literally as if they attempted to make the most egregious game ever.

One can see the cynical marketing behind the temporary revocation of the loot boxes. They'll boost their sales with black friday and christmas deals, then drop them back in within January.

These cock suckers like EA may have made a few bucks over the years but we're onto their shit and calling their bluff. It also helps to have noble heavyweights like Valve and Riot leading the forefront on PC and esports.

Especially Valve. Without them, 99% of pc and console games more closely resemble Candy Crush. Hell, PC games would probably be dead without Lord Gaben imho.

Apparently disc sales are down 40% compared to the first one from last year. Naturally, EA isn't interested in listing digital sales, and PSN/XBL also have never shared that information transparently.

Yes. Good, good signs. EA got too greedy. They fucked up. There's a line beyond which you don't pass. They passed it. Already the worst company in gaming from a business point of view (with Ubisoft on their heels, but at least Ubisoft still puts on the gamer hat first with games like the South Park series). I've always defended the quality of their games, but this isn't about that, anymore.

The game is fun for what it is, really dig the campaign.

Can understand people being upset with the microtransactions but I won't be doing any so that's whatever.

Not a fan of the insane server lag for PVP today though, was fine last night.
