Both are great , but I think Nirvana got more famous cos of the death of kurt.

Nirvana was one of the biggest and most popular bands of the 90's before Kurt died. They brought grunge music to a whole new level. Look at their album sells for Nevermind, it was ridiculous how many records they sold.

Kurt is the GOAT.
