it was 30-27 budd, two people on earth were on something that night

1: the judge who scored it 29-28
2: jimmy smith who gave blencowe rd 1 and rd 3

i had it 30-27.

Totally disagree with EZ here:

Big 2.5 unit bet on Arlene Blencowe at +400. I just re-watched their first fight and Blencowe arguably won it by edging round 1 on the feet, losing round 2 clearly on her back after getting taken down & smothered and then outstriking Budd very clearly for 2/3rds of round 3 except for a takedown at the end that she stood up from. Even Jimmy Smith thought Blencowe had it in the bag on the scorecards, and Budd only squeaked it out with a majority decision victory that had 10-10 and/or 10-8 rounds putting the scores all over the place. This rematch is a five round title fight now and wrestler Budd most likely has to lay and pray three rounds to win this against a superior striker. I am sure Blencowe will have prepared her anti-wrestling, takedown defense and stand ups. Love the value on Blencowe even if she doesn't end up pulling it off. The fight is on Bellator's YouTube if anyone wants to watch and decide for themselves.

i'd say "i'll have to rewatch it" but there's no way i'm gonna do that

Thanks I just watched the fight and agree that line is a bit out of whack. Budd's striking output is just way too low to be a 4-1 favorite against Blencowe here. -400 should be reserved for fighters that are better in every or most departments than their opponent. Blencowe has a clear striking advantage and, despite being undersized and overpowered, Blencowe was still able to reverse Budd in the 3rd round.

Blencowe has got some power and KO'd her next two opponents after that Budd fight. One of them was Janay Harding who is pretty tough and pretty much beat Jessy Rose Clark recently (she lost by decision because they have some rule where missing weight is -2 points to the score). Janay Harding is also one of the prettiest MMA fighters (seriously, look her up). Wish I could find tape of how Blencowe finished her.

Anyway, even -200 would be a bit long for this fight. I'll take the +350.

American BJJ black belt and world champion Rafael Lovato Jr. towers over former welterweight wrestler Chris Honeycutt in this middleweight matchup. Huge size difference and Honeycutt is mostly a wrestler & grinder with decent boxing. Lovato is one of the very best BJJ & submission artists from the U.S. ever to compete in MMA and has much improved striking as well. 2 units on Lovato at +225. He can win this by KO, sub or maybe even decision.

this janay harding gives me a harding in my groin region.

Nice. Gonna tail. You reckon lovato can get the takedown? Size difference is pretty big

Honeycutt will likely be going for the takedowns or trying at least. I can see Lovato keeping it on the feet if he wants to stirke or going down to the ground and subbing Honeycutt of his back or sweeping and reversing the wrestler and getting on top for ground & pound or a submission.
