Bellator is a joke. They come across too much as ufc ripoff. They needed to differentiate themselves to be cool. Everytime I watch I get super bored and think this is B class Mma. I've never seen a good bellator in years now. It's a absolute mistake to give big contracts to aging fighters while they will continue to lose the good younger fighters to ufc.

Bellator just signed Fabian Edwards. Probably the best prospect in the U.K. They might have “aging” fighters but there’s no doubt they’re raising some of the best prospects in mma. If you think otherwise you’re just not even paying attention.

I feel like Bellator are making some good moves bit by bit. Their MW champ is every bit as credible as the UFCs, their WW champ holds a win over his UFC equivalent, Bader is probably top 5 in the world level at both LHW and HW etc.

The one I don't understand is, the ratings are going down, but the live crowd size is clearly going up.
We're seeing less events held in Casinos and more venues that the UFC would use.
Fact is more people stream now, whether that be by legal or illegal methods. People are cutting the cord on TVs at an alarming rate.

The ratings don’t even matter anymore to some point. Bellator is an international company now. They’ve pulled the plug on trying to compete with the UFC stateside. They’re investing internationally and they’re growing their brand. Ppl put too much stock into the domestic ratings when it really isn’t a sign of anything about the company. Of course you want to do well stateside but reality is that nobody in mma is doing well stateside except for a Conor McGregor PPV. They’ve gotten DAZN to invest in them and DAZN will help their standing internationally as well. They’re gonna take over in the U.K. and they’ve already set foot in places like Israel and Italy. Coker and Viacom know what they’re doing. 50 Cent is helping a lot too. In Coker we trust.
Bellator has no elite prospects in half divisions they currently have champions for. Look at the rankings, it's not factual bellator gets any top young fighters to stay or acquire long term. Bellator has only like 4 or 5 prospects that can be deemed high quality.

Pico, Edwards. Ruth, Fortune, Davis, Storley, Mckee, Kimbel, Jordan Young. Literally gave you one for each division and more.
Half of those guys wouldnt get a ufc offer. Plus if you think about it all of them havent fought guys that arent cans yet. Pico, Ruth will be ufc bound for sure though. I can go to the UFC a see guys barely in the top 15 in their divisions and maul most of these guys. A lot of these guys are beatable if they get the wrong matchup.

Your talking to someone whom goes to all the bellator shows in San Jose lol. We have a different opinion what is a elite mma prospect. Bellator isnt turning out the prospects like strikeforce. You just bragged about a UK fighter whose from Bamma that has only faced amateur and very poor fighters.

Then look how many guys ended up champ or ranked.
Bellator has a good amount of high level prospects.

I disagree. When I went to strikeforce the undercard and main card was better than Bellator undercard and maiN in the same building. I've never been to a bellator show and been wowd like when they did strikeforce here in San jose, I thought they were better than some of the UFC, wec shows in northern california. Nick Diaz in SF was a amazing atmosphere.

Your personal opinion on going to a live event doesn't affect what I said.
When strikeforce had it's up and comers and champions people always shit on them never gave them credit saying none would be champs in the ufc.Then you see all the people who ended up as champions,title contenders,and ranked in the UFC.
Btw I went to the event in San Jose at the SAP center for the 1 night lhw tourney and it rivaled any strikeforce event i went to including Diaz fights.(I'm from the bay area)
Bellator has quite a few prospects anyone saying otherwise just doesn't know talent.
