Big fights with polemic decisions. Which ones do you agree or disagree with?

Kampmann beat the tar out of Diego, and Diego got some TD's and had some top position.
Diego won that fight. He got one take down but won the fight on aggression and octagon control. Kampmann back peddled hard in the 3rd.

GSP/ Hendricks, and I'm a GSP fan.

Edgar/ Maynard 2, and I'm an Edgar fan.

Machida, gustafsson, cruz, penn, bisping, draw.

Perhaps in the world according to @Jim .

In reality the scoring criteria is to be applied as follow (excerpt from the unified rules):
  1. Judges shall evaluate mixed martial arts techniques, such as effective striking, effective grappling, control of the ring/fighting area, effective aggressiveness and defense.
  2. Evaluations shall be made in the order in which the techniques appear in (c) above, giving the most weight in scoring to effective striking, effective grappling, control of the fighting area and effective aggressiveness and defense.

Please note that criteria are applied in priority order, with striking being the most heavily weighted. Effective aggression (as distinct from the oft-incorrectly applied 'aggression' - aggression must be effective for it to be valuable in scoring, moving forward is not enough in and of itself) and Octagon control are only important criteria if striking and grappling are equal.

Since Kampmann comfortably outstruck Sanchez the striking was not equal. Kampmann won according to the rules.

Yes, and according to the rules they were incorrect. That's the standard which the judges are supposed to use.
