Bisping vs Nick Diaz?

"the fighter he is" is a strategic fighter that utilizes his jab and footwork to circle away and stay on the outside. I think it is more likely he uses the game plan he's used in his past 40 fights and that has made him such a successful fighter to get the W instead of getting into a brawl with a Diaz brother (which would straight up play into Nicks strengths and give him his best chance of winning).
Don't think we'll ever know though. This would require UFC paying a Diaz brother what they deserve which doesn't happen very often.
Nick Diaz is a counter striker and will force Bisping to come to him imo...

That would be a great fight. Both can go a full 5 rounds. I think Bisping loses. Nicks output is what will be the dif maker. Nick has a chin and Bisping can be stopped. It all depends on the Nick that shows up.

Build up would be interesting. I would predict lots of curse words at the conference
I believe Bisping will bring the fight out of Diaz.

Actually, the last I heard was when Nowitzki was on Rogan's podcast. He said the only sanctions Nick was facing were regarding his failed "whereabouts" reporting. (The policy that inspired my "Location")

But Nowitzki said they had been talking to Nick, and Nick told them he left other people in charge of telling him when he had to be somewhere, and nobody told him he was supposed to be reporting the whereabouts. And USADA believed him, and was trying to work something out with him, because he wanted to fight.

This was just at the beginning of January.
Interesting stuff, thanks for the info. I missed that podcast so I did not hear that. I guess that just leaves us at the matter of what UFC wants to pay Nick and if he'll agree to it or not.

Nick has not fought in 3 years and has only 2 fights in the past 5 years. Not a lot of hope that Nick wants to fight and not really sure what he would look like given the inactivity. I was not a fan of the Diaz - Silva fight. It was a straight-up stinker.

ya it's actually a pretty good listen, mostly because Nowitzki is a surprisingly "normal" guy.

... if you want to check it out.

Not related, but I was also pleasantly surprised by Ben Askren recently. Great guest.

Thanks, I'll definitely listen on my drive home from work. Never really heard any interviews or clips from Nowitzki, just know him as the "the golden snitch" and that's it lol

love bisping , my bro met him and hes a legit good guy ( saw him walk by him at UFC 149, my bro shouted hey bisping! mike and his whole crew stop and turn back. bro says "got time for a picture"? mike walks up to my bro, "no mate the fans are too crazy here" but shook his hand before leaving. story confirmed by 2 others!)

but my point was , remember on TUF how concerned Mike was about his cauliflower ear? how must he feel about his sunken eye. he obviously cares about his appearance .

We saw him at UFC fox 1 and he took so much time taking pictures with the fans who were mostly booing him. He seems like a great guy I think it's all an act.

Diaz vs Silva did suck but thats because Silva was playing it extra safe. Bisping would be a much aggressive fighter especially with it being his last.

Would love to see the build up for that fight, bring the scrap pack back together, the shit talking !! Make this happen UFC

I think it would be a perfect fight for Bispings retirement.

Plus everyone wanted to see Bisping vs Diaz years ago so now would be perfect.

Thoughts or predictions?
I could totally see this materializing.

i can see Bisping taking this fight i can't say the same for Diaz that said if Nick does decide to fight this would be a good matchup

sure but I don't think we see a Diaz in cage again

Diaz. This bisping pillows ain’t gonna slow Nick down one bit.

I think it would be a great matchup and a very entertaining fight. Especially the build up leading up to the actual fight.
Nicks been fighting for nothing more the to collect a check since he came back to the UFC. I don't get excited to see him in the ring anymore.
