In a recent video related to escaping, I talked about having the “escaping in transition” mindset and then in two other videos I gave some examples and scenarios related to transitional escaping when your opponent is working a pass and transitional escaping directly after you have been swept.

Now lets talk about what is considered “proper position” when you are trying to escape most major positions.

Now it’s important to understand that this also relates to transitional escaping because the BEST time to get proper position to escape is during the transition. This way you are set up for success when it comes to escaping whatever situation you are caught in!

In this video I talk about some important points and concepts to help you get better position to escape most major positional situations.

I hope it helps and thank you for watching!
