As a 5’5” (165cm), 105lbs (45kg) woman, I have had a lot of trouble finding a bjj gi that fits how it’s supposed to. Almost all adult sizing charts start at 115lbs+ (52 kgs) or 120lbs (55kgs). If I try a youth gi, the arms and legs are usually too short. Are there any small people out there who have found a good gi? If so, who makes it? Thanks

Hello Lindsely,

There is a problem for sure I supply gis to some bjj clubs in Ireland and there is a girl who is about same weight as you who uses F3 size which I adjusted for her. You may order from any supplier who does customised gis. Thanks amd good luck

I am not a woman but some of the women in my class like Fenom gis. You can buy different size pants and tops with Fenom.

You may also want to try Killer Bee. They also allow buying different size tops and bottoms. They also have some custom options.

Fushida may work for you as well.

Shoyoroll has a different size chart but they are difficult to get.

If none of these work you may want to think of getting a bigger gi and tailoring it a bit. Best of luck.

No gi's fit me so I bought one that came close and had it custom tailored by a local guy. I thought maybe the stitching would be weaker but its been holding up just fine and the fit is freaking perfect. Almost looks like a suit. Lol.
