Not too much. I grew up poor as fuck and lived around people who ended up in prison. So I cant identify with "abroad" as much as (domestic) lock up.

A few years ago, I started watching every kind of prison documentary imaginable.

Don't know why. A few people that I grew up with got locked up because of drugs, and my dad used to be a criminal defense attorney. However, life on the inside never really interested me until recently.

It is worse in the UK because the law enforcement isn't rabid against these sort of crimes like here in the USA.....the FBI etc go after CP and child sex abusers like crazy. I think they're a bit softer in the UK when it comes to the law enforcement side of it. Hence why it's more of a problem in the UK. In the USA, there's almost nothing we hate more than child porn/rape. So the law enforcement reflects that
