Seems like the article is just some antidotal stories. I know I'll be engaged when I become a grandpa and most of my friends are the same. Us Boomers are just like any other generation, some more family oriented than others.
Not only did I not receive ANY help with my kids from my parents, I didn't want any. Those two were too fucked up in the head for me to leave my kids with.
Pretty sad when a grown person resorts to complaining that their parents don't do enough for them. I instantly loose respect for a person when I hear them doing this.
