David Davis resigns as Brexit secretary after cabinet tensions

Davis going out with his head held high, May and her version of Brexit is finished. Tories in shambles. Absolute chaos.

Anyone who voted for brexit want to justify their decision, in light of this ongoing shitfest that seems to be drifting towards an outcome that literally nobody wants or would rationally vote for?

TBH, the Tories, or Labours, never wanted Brexit in the first place. It's like telling an Agent who is dead set against your decision to negotiate a deal you know they don't want. Of course May and the Tories would fuck it all up. the Tories obnoxiously moronic manifesto in the last PM campaign was designed to cost them votes on purpose. They were willing to risk handing over the seat of power to a far-left socialist whacko. That's how much the Tories don't want Brexit.

it was all because of the Tories.... there was a split in the part between those that wanted to stay and those that wanted to leave. So the promised a referendum at the general election.

This is all on the Tories

You think the tories deliberately lost the election to stop brexit? An interesting take that I've never heard before.

This shitfest is on those that voted for brexit, despite being told by all of our allies leadership, scientists, business groups and unions that it would become a shitty unworkable mess.

Fucking morons, the lot of them.

Going to be interesting to see how UKIP does in the next election cycle. I would imagine that the anti-democratic nature of the both the Tories and Labour is starting to weigh on the general population.

I would bet diamonds that they'll do terribly , probably cease to exist as a 'serious' party .

The rationale is simple and compelling we were at best indifferent about Europe , who knew the name of their MEP or even bothered to vote in a Euro election , precious few .
No best all round that we leave so they can find someone that really loves them , while we whore about for a bit .

Already happened. Their most well known party members have either resigned, left the party for others or are considering leaving.

Farage was easily their most recognisable leader, but he seemed to show his true colours when the country actually voted Brexit. The party is dead as dead can be. Their only MP quit the party last year and they've underwent several (4 or 5) leadership changes since Farage quit in 2016.

You think the general public could even tell you any details regarding Brexit talks since the vote 2 years ago? I'd wager a large percentage of UK population couldn't even tell you the names of the leaders of the main political parties in the UK, let alone UKIP. The Daily Mail, The Mirror and the Sun are the three largest news sources in the UK across print and digital readership. You really think people are well informed enough to make a serious judgement call when it comes to policy?

If you want to see the trajectory of UKIP, look at their most recent election results. It's all down hill. Their party and leadership doesn't inspire confidence in anyone.

It's one of the most amazing political move I have ever seen. It's like a ship captain commanding to sail toward a cliff and then fleeing hours before the impact being all "lol, not my problem anymore".

So May and the Tories did have a plan all along, which was the same as near enough everyone else in the political/corporate establishment - no Brexit.

And what's the alternative at the next election? A Jeremy Corbyn led Labour Party where we would have Dianne Abbott as Home Secretary, John McDonnell (a self described Marxist) as Chancellor of the Exchequer, Nia Griffin (a loony lefty former teacher with a degree in modern languages) as head of defence, Shami Chakrabati as Attorney General and so on.

What an absolute shower of shite.

Yes they've seemingly gone to great length in order to live up to their reputation as swivel eyed loons .
