Overtake in sales numbers, but definitely not on the road

To be fair... they only have one party trick, which is to go fast in a straight line.

Corners, braking, build quality, battery life when accelerating like that etc... not so great.

Do people still not understand electric motors? Any moron could build a home made electric "vehicle" in their garage that would beat any gas powered car in a drag race. These fluff pieces showing drag races between an ice car and an electric car are completely pointless. But people still point to them as if they prove some sort of on road/track performance.

I'm looking forward to the release of the new 992.2 Porsche 911 Turbo S. The current one does a 10.1 quarter all day long... and not on a prepped drag strip like that. Somehow I doubt they are going to release a new one that isn't considerably faster next time.
