Californias economy is on pace to outgrow the rest of the country

Yet they're still 1.3 trillion in debt, have 20% of the population living below poverty and have human feces on their sidewalks. Keep that "success" coming.

Are you sure California is generating more than the Banks on Wall Street, and which I think should be counted as the State of NY.
 
Hollywood still makes a lot of money, even though the product is pretty crappy, overall, with many exceptions of decent entertainment. Should build a new one someplace else for some competition.. Maybe with some shows made that resemble real life like they used to.

A factual number isn't an opinion. It says 1 in 5, which is 20% in case you couldn't do the math there. Here are several more sources for both claims.

Also when California is doing better than the rest of the country, it can just mean a handful of people living in California is doing better than rest of country and probably doing better than everyone else in California. Our wealth distribution is skewed enough to allow for that.

Its like during the height of Crack, Medellin is doing better than the rest of Colombia because Pablo Escobar lives there at that time. In fact, Colombia at that time probably wealthier than a lot of US States at that time too because of Pablo Escobar living there.
 
Interestingly CA has the population of NY, NJ, MA and CT combined. And those 4 states combined have a higher GDP than CA.

The Northeast is still the GOAT US moneymakers.
