Call of Duty: WWII

So I picked this up for Zombies only, but I have really been enjoying the Multiplayer. In fact I can’t believe how much I played it yesterday alone.

I hated the beta and judged this really harshly based on them getting rid of advanced moverment mechanics but I am having a blast tbh.
 
The throwing knife reticle sucks though. I don’t know wtd they were thinking when they did that.

Completely different game to COD : World at War? I am surprised they went back to WWII after the criticism the earlier one got.
 
I’ve played Shipment almost non stop. What a ridiculous map. You gotta have the right mindset going into that one.

Is that the super tiny map? If so, domination and that map is absolutely insane. I've seen a team lose 100-2 lol

Yeah, that’s the one. It’s an easy way to boost your SPM though.
 
Yeah I played that map when I was trying to get 200 explosive kills
 
I honestly enjoy this game. Outside the boring maps, awful killstreaks, and snipers this game is fun. I just like boots on the ground. I could never get into the advanced movement COD went. I like it in Titanfall but not cod. It just didn’t feel intuitive and the p2p connection made it worst. Even the so called blops3 was trash to me with people floating everywhere and the cheesy specialist auto kill ability that took no skill. Plus when they put like 80 melee weapons it just became a lightweight/blast suppression nightmare. If blops4 is the same I will rock with this. I really hope they buff the scorestreaks in this.

Naw WAW just got ignored. I think Fallout 3 and GOW 2 dropped around the same time and those were huge. Then the hackers completely ruined the game
 
I don't find the killstreaks too bad. I get kills with the guided bomb and the bomber run.

Anyone giving a crap about this game?

I find the drops are actually not as rare as previous CoD's. I'm having SOME fun playing it. Not as much as the editions with jetpacks etc but it's fun still.

I play it drunk sometimes..
 
I do like the Orders. It gives you something specific to do and if you pick the right ones, you'll get some Epic or Heroic weapons, etc.
 
I play games for the single player campaigns and thats why i havent bout a call of duty since Modern Warfare. They are based on being an online game yet there are like 10 different COD games that people are playing because they release a new one every year.

Rockstar Games has the right idea. Make us wait and beg for a new game

You're not who they're targeting, and the COD games sell so why not make 10 instead of 1? plus having all those different versions with an active online playerbase means the fans can play the COD's they like. Even when they changed company and got heavily panned for having inferior physics, LOS systems etc fans still bought the games. It's clear there is a market for them.
 
Not only that, but as terrible as Ghosts was for PvP, I have to say it was my favorite campaign and I think you really missed out by not continuing with the series.

I went something like 82-24 on that map in dom.

But yeah it is pretty damn hectic if you arent on the right team haha
 
Anyone playing this?

I have been playing it quite a bit, and enjoying it. The zombies is gruesome. The Easter Eggs are insanely detailed. They've brought in new gear and uniforms and weapons that you can get by filling out orders. Pretty fun.
 
Never thought I'd say this but going from this to black ops 3, I missed the grounded slower paced and more realistic environment. This game grew on me after a while and it was more fun after some fixes.
