At least back then the "red pill" was accepting the truth about female mating patterns, partner selection, romantic love, partner loyalty and divorce. It wasn't about getting women directly at least but indirectly promoted that if you weren't having success you could improve your odds by "being the prize" and improving yourself. It warned against divorce because it was very risky and very few marriages are successful.

Aside from that I do think human being are still very much the products of our primitive brains. We may have evolved from out lesser intelligent primate ancestors but what led them to survive is still very much hard wired into all of us. Attraction, lust, fear, etc. are all reasons we survived as long as we have but they're far from well thought out or intelligent.

I don’t know. Maybe it’s evolved because I took a look at that redpill stuff to see what it was about. I saw the take care of yourself and confidence shit in there. I don’t disagree with those aspects. I do remember reading that they want to treat women like children. They emphasized that women have child like brains and that men need to scold women when they are not behaving the way you want them to because they do not know what they want. It’s men’s job to teach them how to behave.

If we're talking laid, I would suggest that your number is closer to truth, but being laid once ain't the same as hundreds and that kind of disparity existed before tinder and the like skewed it further in favour of the best few.
