Generally, New York, but deep dish is incredibly satisfying at times. There's also Chicago-style flat pizza which is actually flatter than New York-style pizza, that is also good, but still I prefer New York-style.
Interesting point. Whenever this argument comes up, I always assume Chicago is synonymous with deep dish, and NY thin. Since thin is vastly superior to deep dish, I always pick NY. However, I've never been to NY. I've been to Chicago and had some pretty good thin.People always associate deep dish with Chicago (rightfully, since that's it's home).
However, Chicagoans eat deep dish very rarely.
The order is pretty clearly:
Chicago thin
NY thin
Chicago deep dish

Yeah, same here, basically. I used to go to Uno's a lot, but I would rarely get pizza. I'd just drink, or I'd get sliders, or pasta, or whatever. I'd also get thin crust there. With Chicago I don' crave it as much but when I do and end up having it, I feel like I am in heaven but afterwards I am done for a while.
With N.Y. I can have it over and over again.
Kind of like Chicago is a fast twitch sprinter while New York pizza is the endurance marathoner.
True, true. When I went to Chicago, I had some good thin crust, but not deep dish.People always associate deep dish with Chicago (rightfully, since that's it's home).
