In his acceptance speech, the award-winner described police killings of African Americans and Latinos in the United States as "lawful lynchings."

"Racialized oppression and dehumanization is woven into the very fabric of our nation -- the effects of which can be seen in the lawful lynching of black and brown people by the police, and the mass incarceration of black and brown lives in the prison industrial complex," Kaepernick said.

Kaepernick first took a knee to protest police brutality during the playing of the national anthem when he was with the 49ers in 2016.

"How can you stand for the national anthem of a nation that preaches and propagates, 'freedom and justice for all,' that is so unjust to so many of the people living there?" he said at Saturday's award ceremony.

Police being able to shoot unarmed blacks and latinos to receive a taxpayer funded vacation cause "I just wanted to get home to my family" you know?

No I don't know, this doesn't happen.

I'm tired of all these inconsequential stories about Colin being rolled out for political mileage, so in the future, I'll be piling them all here.

As opposed to the unlawful lynching of white and yellow ppl i think...

Wow Wow!! Why you including us yellow with you white folks.. fight your own racial fights!!! The last time Asians got “lynched” that was newsworthy was by white people anyway...

Holy Jesus this guy is garbage.

At least he sure seems to be focused on football though, I'll tell you that.

He is so serious about being a NFL caliber quarterback and not a false SJW martyr, he'll be back in the league in no time.

This guy isn't a fraud at all.

He just wants to help colored people. He isn't doing this to stay relevant.

On a complete side note, that horse is very dead, he should stop beating it. He is giving that horse the Emmit Till treatment, you think he'd know better.

With that and about 3.50 he can get a coffee at Starbucks .

Kaep really opened a can of whoop ass. Im pretty sure this has gone on longer and further than he ever anticipated. I bet when he first knelt, it was just a childish joke, or rebellious attention grabber. Celebrities, and Sports Stars have done things in the past to gain notoriety too. He was probably just trying the same stunt.

Kobe Bryant has worn that "I cant breathe" shirt. Jim Brown has been saying stuff for a long time. Dusty Baker make that comment about slaves being brought here to work in the humidity.

But Kaep has become a focal point for the MSM LOLZ. All he did was kneel. Other NFLers have followed suit, but Kaep is now the poster boy. I dont think this is what he wanted at all. But its too late, and he has to play along LOLZ

A thread full of consolation prizes.

How embarrassing.

Do yellow people watch white porn for the same reason white people watch black porn?

Kaeperick is a modern champion of civil rights and an American hero. When will he get the Noble Peace prize?

Should de-clutter the place nicely.
